Rajasthan
has always fasinated people from all over the world with the grandeur of
its forts, palaces and architecture of its havelis. It is the place with
rich culture, Rajasthan has evrything under the sun except for beaches and
snow-clad mountains. On the other hand, there is the vast expanse of the
Thar desert and sand dunes in the west and on the other there are the lakes,
hills and greenry around Udaipur.
A drive almost anywhere in Rajasthan will
punctuated by fort on distant ridge or a pavilion next to a seasonal pool.
The loccal women wear colourful cotton lenghas(skirts) or saris, the men
magnificient turbans. |
